Review
Today I want to do something new in my review. I have sifted through some ideas and the best one I have come up with so far is to write about a game that everyone knows already anyways. At first that idea seemed to be somewhat odd and counterproductive because no one in his right mind would read such a review. But then, on the other hand.. as you already know what the game is about you can sit back and relax and enjoy the show.
It's just like when you try to decide what movie to watch tonight and you consult your tv-guide what that "Terminator" thing might be about. The tv magazine people don't really care to enlighten the two morons among their five million readers who really have not seen the Matrix yet. It's about giving the rest of us kind of a break. And about selling advertising of course which is more difficult when all your pages are blank because there are only reruns.
So the game that I chose today is Bejeweled 2 Deluxe. You know that one, right? Or at least you know some other Bejeweled game. And if you have never even heard the name I trust that you have already played some game where you had some grid of spheres or symbols or whatever and where you could swap symbols around to create rows of three or more that disappear then. And where fresh ones dropped down from above and so on.
If it starts to dawn upon you that this time around you might be the moron (no offense) then congratulations. You are about to dive into a brightly colored, relaxing, super polished gameworld that will keep you busy for hours on end. (And you need not worry that no one has told you about the game already. You are not necessarily a troglodytic asocial nerd with no friends who care enough to share a download link with you. The thing is that Bejeweled does not lend itself well to the purpose of boasting. It's really easy and you would probably not tell everyone who cares to listen about your new highscore that you achieved by doing random moves after falling asleep over the keyboard. And it's pretty cutish too. So while the guys who you watch football with might play it they would probably not talk about it. Not like Doom, you see.)
For your convenience I copied the following from somewhere without asking. Troglodytic: Of or pertaining to a troglodyte, or dweller in caves.
